Jorge Armando has been with us from the start. As employee 1, he has seen first hand how the team’s efforts have come into fruition. 

Why did you join Propra?

Joining Propra at a very early stage allowed me to help build a team full of people that care about the product we are building as much as we care about remaining nimble. The promise of a company where the technical aspect is not neglected sealed the deal for me. Being part of a brave group of people that have such a high level of respect for what they do is something I have been looking for my entire career. I can honestly say I have finally found that place in Propra.

What is the best part of your job? 

Being encouraged to evolve our software in tandem with our product is the best part. Not only because the technical aspects of our product are never neglected but because it means we don't have to make compromises on code quality. 

What is your favourite part of your day?

Whenever I get to exchange knowledge with others, however small, it makes my day.

What is the biggest learning experience you gained from working at Propra?

Prioritization is key. Determining when the time is right to get something done. That is the key to team success. Not making perfect code, not being "busy". It’s about doing the right thing at the right time.
